Your donation helps support Block Island’s only nonprofit sailing organization which offers accredited US Sailing Keelboat, Cruising, and advanced sailing certification courses including the prestigious US Sailing International Proficiency Certificate (IPC), which is your “skippers license” to charter a bareboat, without a professional captain and crew, anywhere in the world. BICS is also the center for the PHRF offshore racing class in Eastern Block Island Sound and we host numerous offshore regattas including the “Around the Island Pursuit Regatta” in September of each year.
